Hi and welcome. I am a jewellery designer using a variety of techniques and metals together with mainly natural gemstones and crystals.
My focus is on showing the stones and crystals more than anything. They tell me what metal/thread and technique that suits them best. It may sound a bit strange, but because I have aphantasia, which is a condition where I cannot see images in my mind, I struggle with designing. I have found that I work best when I let the materials guide me to create my jewellery. Of course, when I get a commission, I will listen to my client and will create jewellery that they will love and wear for a long time. That is after all why I create my jewellery.
